HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
The School was started in 1958 by S.F.N. sisters to cater to educational needs of young boys/girls of the locality and surrounding villages. The School which is recognized by the Govt.of Goa is owned and managed by Holy Family of Nazareth Educational Society, which belongs to Christian religious minority group and therefore enjoys the rights and privileges guaranteed by Article 30(i) of the constitution of India. It is registered under Societies Registration Order No.56 dated 31-10-1966 The Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Family of Nazareth to which S.F.N Sisters belong was founded by Rev.Fr.Faustino de Souza,on 16TH June 1935,to help the poor and needy.
There are six schools run by the society namely:- St. Joseph Vaz High School, Sancoale
- Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim.
- St. Theresa High School, Sto. Estevam.
- St. Joseph Convent High School, Nagoa-Verna.
- St. Michael’s Convent High School, Anjuna-Vagator.
- Kiran Niketan Primary School Zuarinagar, Sancoale.
- Holy Family Primary School, Seraulim - Salcette
